
Stir-Fried Beef and Broccoli

This recipe of beef and broccoli stir fry is a traditional dish of beef sauteed with fresh broccoli florets and covered in its own savory sauce. For moms like me it’s great to prepare this kind of meal, you can have a good and easy supper on the table in less than 30 minutes!
I love fried stir meals for a quick that’s full of flavor.
Stir-Fried Beef and Broccoli

3 tbsp cornstart
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 lb boneless round steak
2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
4 cups broccoli florets
1 small onion, cut into wedges
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon ground ginger
toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Directions
- In a small bowl make a slurry, combine 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Add 2 tablespoons water and garlic powder to the slurry mixture.
- Put the mixture along with the beef and toss
- In a wok, heat a little bit of oil, stir fry the beef . Set Aside
- Add the onion, and mix for the next 5 minutes
- Add the broccoli and cook for 3 minutes
- Add the beef back and fry for a minute.
